Will trade gas and miles for late season hunting partners
« on: October 17, 2013, 06:54:54 PM »
I'm new to hunting and have tried to read everything I can about hunting like tracking, scent control etc. but there's nothing that replaces learning from people with experience. Due to work and school I was only able to go out for a couple days this past week and I didn't get anything. I'm very familiar with firearms and decent with a map and compass. I have a 4wd pickup that we can use. I'm willing to trade gas and miles on my pickup to learn as much as I can from a hunting partner/partners during late season modern. Thanks.

Where do you live?
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.

I live in Medical Lake and have a 2006 GMC Sierra extended cab.

I would contribute more if I had anything else, but I can't think of anything else that I have to offer other offering to pay for the gas and use my rig. I don't want to leech off of people. I don't believe in welfare! I would hire a guide but I don't have the money for that. I'm pretty much paying my way through college right now, but I really want to learn to hunt things other than jackrabbits. I know if I had private land people would be all willing to help, but I don't  :(

I'm also willing to help with any manual labor as well. If someone would like to trade their knowledge/experience for a young, 23 yr old back  :) I would be willing to do that as well.
